What we collect
- Business listings from open map data: business name, type, town, website address and listed phone number.
- What we observe on a business's public web pages, such as loading speed and whether an enquiry form exists.
- The contact email address a business publishes on its own website.
- If you email us, your message and email address.
We do not use cookies or tracking on this website.
Why we use it
To tell businesses about faults on their websites, and to supply web agencies with businesses that may want those faults fixed. We rely on legitimate interests: the information is published by the businesses themselves for people to contact them, and it concerns their business, not their private life.
Who we share it with
A business's details may be passed to one web agency in its area. We use Cloudflare to host this website and Google to send and receive email.
How long we keep it
For as long as the check is useful, and no longer than two years. If you ask us to remove a business, we keep only its website address on a do-not-contact list so that it is not added again.
Your choices
Email hello@webrevenuescan.com to be removed, to stop any further contact, or to ask what we hold about you. We act on removal requests promptly. If you are in the UK and are unhappy with our reply, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
